IMCB’s research activities focus on six major fields: Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Structural Biology, Infectious Diseases, Cancer Biology and Translational Research with core strengths in cell cycling, cell signalling, cell death, cell motility and protein trafficking.

IMCB continues to strive for excellence in biomedical R&D to see the vision of Singapore being a world class hub for the Biomedical Sciences in Asia and beyond.

RNAi Screening facility at IMCB is being run under the supervision of Dr. Frederic Bard. The RNAi screening facility at IMCB welcomes collaborations from Singapore investigators and is also the member of RNAi Global. Being the RNAi global member, the screening facility at IMCB continues to interchange the knowledge and experience gained in this area by active participation in discussion and by other means.
