The Biozentrum is a department of the University of Basel. It is an interdisciplinary institute dedicated to basic molecular and biomedical research. The individual research groups are centered on three theme oriented "Focal Areas" (Growth & Development, Infection Biology, Neurobiology) plus two technology-oriented "Core Programs" (Computational & Systems Biology,Structural Biology & Biophysics).
