The mission of the Department of Molecular Therapeutics is to translate our rapidly maturing understanding of the genetic and epigenetic defects that underlie the initiation and progression of cancer to improved patient management.
The goal of the department is to provide an interface between the basic and clinical sciences at the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center facilitating this process.
